September 27, 2007 - Idea Expo to inspire innovation in Wyoming businesses
Casper, WY- Tthe WTO invites you to attend The Idea Expo at the Casper Convention Center. The conference will feature speakers on topics like increasing capital, patents and trademarks, workforce issues, business plans, marketing, grant funding, innovation and technology, internet marketing, international business and expansion. In addition, the event will offer workshops, panel discussions, a trade show, and opportunities to network.
One of the keynote speakers, Michael Benidt, was a Regional Director for Waldenbooks for 25 years before starting his computer training company, Golden Compass.com. The idea to begin the company came about because Mr. Benidt felt the practical and immediate benefits of technology were not being focused on in computer and Internet training.
Another keynote speaker, Sheryl Kay, is an entrepreneur who started her own training business, SK Enterprises. She has taught assisted living facilities, senior communities, and Alzheimer’s homes during her career. She holds a Master’s in Education and prior to starting her business raised a family. She works for Golden Compass.com.
Also speaking is Kevin Schaff, who has been involved in small businesses for decades. He was President of Wind River Communications, Inc. and founder of UPDATE Systems, Inc. He saw the successful sale of both of these ventures and he currently is the CEO of Thought Equity Motion, where he leads the company, helps generate awareness and helps create products.
